"Le Hameau des Vignerons de Carcès", formerly "La Carçoise" was founded in 1910 as a cooperative association for the production and sale of wines.
The winegrowers from the village of Carcès decided to combine their knowledge, energy and resources to better market their product.
Today, "Le Hameau des Vignerons de Carcès" has 160 members and is the 3rd leading wine cellar in the Var, with more than 600 hectares of vines, including 460 hectares of Appellation of Controlled Origin (AOC) "Côtes de Provence", and 200 hectares of Vin de Pays.
Production primarly focusses on Rosé wines, with 36,000 hl of the 40,000 hl produced being "Rosé de Provence" wines.
Comprised of 5 sectors, 5 different "terroirs", and an encepagement that has been totally reshaped over the last twenty years or so, this cooperative receives multiple awards each year and are the pride of our winegrowers.
In 2007, the new "Boutique du Hameau" was opened, providing an ideal and pleasant venue for tasting and appreciating all our products and underscoring the professionalism of the Carcès winegrowers.
